When I think of unusual beings ~ my mind wonders to the works of John Keel, especially "THE MOTHMAN PROPHECIES" where the witnesses were stalked by a large batlike creature that could fly near 100 mph without flapping its wings....or transparent smoke-like beings with bottonhole black eyes and not touchable that was documented in the UFO literature & "SIGHTINGS" show, witnessed by a believalbe man named Kurt.
This tale is like that, but witnessed by more than one, on more than one occasion. It was seen ~ then never seen again, making it an UNSOLVED MYSTERY:
THE DOVER DEMON[[s]]...must have been out 'for a stroll', for when a boy named Bill saw "IT" ~ it appeared as a being without nose or mouth and between three to four feet 'SMALL'...We're in Dover, Mass., in April of 1977. Bill was an amateur artist, about 17, and he drew the being as having long thin arms & legs, long fingers & toes, with a watermelon head with two ORANGE eyes in the usual places.
Bill saw this "peach-colored" skin THING about 20' away; unbeknownst to him, a 15 year old boy name John saw & drew the same creature about a mile away. John was about 25 feet from the creature. [[THE ILLUSTRATED DRAWINGS ARE IN BORD's book.]]
The next day, an 18 year old named Will & 15 year old Abby also saw the "demon"...the only difference was that the eyes were GREEN instead of ORANGE.
[[I seem to recall, that when I was reading about the notorious CHUPA~CABRA (goat sucker), the only real difference between certain very unusual beings in their own right was the different eye color also. So perhaps they were "cousins" out for a paranormal stroll on an "EVENT DAY" when the portals were 'just right'!~?! Bill & John saw 'cousin one'~ and Will & Abby saw 'cousin two'...THE DOOR WAS ABOUT TO CLOSE...THEN "NOBODY SAW NOTHING" and the DOVER DEMON will be added to our folklore, until the paranormal door BECOMES ~ UNHINGED ~ AGAIN!!! ~~+_+~~

"PAN" SIGHTING: {{SOURCE~"WEIRD NEW JERSEY" Issue #17, p.31, reported by a Juan Caraballo....
While Juan was finishing up the day with his friends at Menantico Park, located in Vineland, N.J,(west of Atlantic City in the middle of the state), he went into the woods and heard a rustling. Something was zig-zagging toward him....
Six feet away from him stood a very unusual being: it was four feet tall with silver gray skin and fuzzy little light grey, goat-like legs. It disappeared back into the brush very quickly. The year was 1989.
What makes this story even more bizarre ~ Juan had not mentioned the story to anyone, but five years later, he was at a work site when he noticed one of the plumbers' t-shirts who had participated in a softball tournament at Menantico Park. On the front of the t-shirt was the same picture of Pan that Juan had seen in the woods five years before. He asked the plumber why they had used the image of Pan [[incidentally,remembered as a mythological'GOAT-MAN']] on the t-shirt, but the plumber did not know.
[[THE ONLY LOGICAL ANSWER TO THIS MYSTERY IS THAT WHOEVER HAD THIS PICTURE PUT ON THE T-SHIRT, MOST LIKELY LIVED IN THE AREA, TRAVERSED THE SAME WOOD IN THE EARLY EVENING, SAW THE SAME "UNUSUAL BEING", NEGLECTED TO MENTION IT WAS REAL, AND USED IT FOR T-SHIRT EMBLEMS. I ALSO THINK THAT SHERLOCK HOLMES WOULD BE PROUD OF THIS DEDUCTION!]]lebeau reporting....
